A big day out with Peter Rabbit Kew Gardens, Richmond This Easter weekend enjoy a fun-packed Peter Rabbit- themed festival with something for all the family, including outdoor games and a trail around the gardens with stories from favourite Beatrix Potter characters. 020 8332 5655 kew.org


Brecon Mountain Railway Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales Children and grown-ups love taking a ride in this vintage steam train, which runs through some spectacular scenery.
