Search of a Play. Hailing from Texas, Shores is best known in our community for writing the theatre comedy turned film, Sordid Lives. He can also be thanked for being a part of the writing team on Showtime’sQueer as Folk. Six Characters in Search of a Play is a 90-minute spectacle: Six people who Shores has met in real life, one-of-a-kind


gems, who hadn’t yet made it into one of his plays, films or TV shows. He himself is a part of the tales, so you’ll learn how he met these unique characters and see his best impersonations of them. Shores is bound to make you laugh and a few of these characters could make you cry.
