SPRING GUIDE #1
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to
start all over again.” Eric Roth

Sleep, Why You Should Make Sure You Snooze
By Dr. Yolanda Mangrum ~ firstname.lastname@example.org
Petaluma, CA. ~ March 4-11 is National Sleep Awareness Week, re- minding us that it’s time to check on our sleep- ing hab- its. While some
and others can barely crawl out of bed in the mornings - what- ever type of person you are, the one thing is certain - you need to get enough sleep every night. Recent surveys have shown that more and more people are sleeping less than 6 hours a night.
people are early risers
This is well below the stan- dards of 6-8 or even 10 hours a night. Why is this important? During sleep, your body is busy
healing damaged cells, boost- ing your immune system, re- covering from the day’s activi- ties and recharging your heart and cardiovascular system for the next day. Without enough sleep, you
might find yourself feeling drowsy, irritable or sometimes depressed. You might struggle at work, have a hard time re- membering things or making decisions or start craving un- healthy foods and sweets to boost your energy.
Chronic lack-of-sleep can even cause hypertension, in- creased stress hormone levels, irregular heartbeat and other se- rious conditions.
The good news is that by making sleep a priority for your health you can feel better and look great! For a copy of good sleep tips go to: www.pet

JOKES & Humor # 5
A little boy was in a relative’s wedding. As he was coming down the aisle he would take two steps, stop, and turn to the crowd (alternating between bride’s side and groom’s side). While facing the crowd, he would put his hands up like claws and roar… So it went, step, step, ROAR, step, step, ROAR all the way down the aisle. As you can imagine, the crowd was near tears from laughing so hard by the time he reached the pulpit. The little boy, however, was getting more and more distressed from all the laughing, and was also near tears by the time he reached the pulpit.
When asked what he was doing, the child sniffed and said, “I was being the Ring Bear….”

There are some dogs who are just plain funny. Fido, a fi esty Jack Russel Terrier and owner Lenka of Santa Rosa were pur- chasing dog food at the check- out counter, and we offerred him treats. He sat upright & immediately with his front feet in the air. Our clerk gladly handed over a tasty dog biscuit and Fido munched it up, beg- ging for more(of course). Fido has come here since he was born and Lenka says,”WFC is the Capital of the Dog World” They shop here because WFC has everything he loves and he gets to come inside!
