Founded by the godfathers of craft brewing (Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley) back in 2012, The Dingle Distillery was the first privately owned purpose-built distillery to open in over 150 years in Ireland, one of only a handful that distils its own spirit from grain and acclaimed by whiskey aficionados as the only true “Pot Still” producer at this time. With a micro climate unlike no other, Dingle Original Gin takes its unique flavour from our carefully balanced selection of locally sourced botanicals, which are split, with the seeded botanicals being presented to our neutral grain spirit 24 hours before distillation and the floral botanicals in the flavour basket which is positioned at the top of the still. We then chill filter Dingle Gin and cut it with well water which comes down from the surrounding mountains. 2016 & 2017 winner of “Ireland’s Best London Dry Gin”.
