The team behind the venture also own a similar establishment in Southport, but the Liverpool version is much larger and has two floors. The project has involved the restoration of a dilapidated Grade 2 listed premises dating back to the 19th century. Peaky Blinders styled décor features throughout, with large images of the main characters dominating the walls and iconic features from the show being replicated. The owners said:

“We had always wanted to open a bar and when we first saw Peaky Blinders we just loved the feel-good factor of the period and the music. When customers walk into we want them to feel the same ambience.

The public reaction to this one in Liverpool has been amazing. It’s outstanding, frightening, exciting – it’s just everything that we hoped for. Everyone’s very excited.”

PEAky BLIndERs BAR/CoCkTAILs

The venue has a 1920s’ feel and stocks a wide range of beers, wines and spirits. The “star” attraction is Pilsner Urquell unpasteurised Tank Beer. Delivered direct from the brewery in Czechoslovakia the beer is vacuum sealed to ensure it tastes just as fresh as when it was first brewed. Legend has it that is “hangover free” but that has yet to be put to the test!

Live music features regularly in the bar together with an eclectic soundtrack to chill out to.
