Step 4: Create Your Implementation Strategy


The following steps present a sample model of an implementation process. Your church is unique and will require some modifications to the follow- ing plan. Nevertheless, you should be able to adapt it to meet your needs.


Find your leader Ideally, a successful prevention program begins with people who deeply care about the issue of child sexual abuse. You may be one of those people. Others may include a staff member, business administra- tor, board member, Sunday school teacher, or a person who has experi- enced the pain of abuse. Form a task force that can make a presentation
