RAF Family


Established on 1 April 1918, the Royal Air Force is the oldest independent air force in the world. The RAF is proud of its illustrious history and the generations of professional, highly trained men and women who are central to its many achievements.


As the RAF moves into its Centenary year, it will launch the

It will encompass elements such as aCentenary service in Westminster Abbey and a parade down The Mall.
