Welcome to the December issue

This month residents of Upton and Lytchett Minster can enjoy the Beacon Association’s quiz and children’s party (pg6), the Santa Parade and community carols (pg10) and ‘Santaland’ (pg29), along with a number of other local community events – see page 28. Whatever you choose to get involved in, I hope you have a great time.

Please do take care of yourself and each other this winter. Purbeck Good Neighbours (pg8) offers practical help for over 50s, and the Law Spot (pg40) has some good advice for looking after yourself and your family. If you are an animal lover, take note of the vet’s advice on seasonal perils (pg19) and it’s not too late to donate a gift to a pet in need (pg38).

In this issue we welcome new advertisers Eco Log Burners (pg1), Star Automotive/Star Tech (pg2), Purbeck Podiatry (pg11), Carehome Bed Finder (pg37), and Marble & Granite Inspirations (pg31), who featured on a recent episode of a Channel 4 house improvement show.

If you would like to advertise with us in the new year, please get in touch as soon as possible as our deadline for the January issue is Wednesday 6th December.

Thank you once again for your support this year. The Upton Link team and I wish you a great Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.

Until next time, Karen In this issue...
