Fly-Tipping & Town Improvements


• Please report fl y tipping initially to the Town Council, or request that Dorset Waste Partnership does so if it occurs on public land. We would also ask residents not to put bags containing food or commercial waste alongside street waste bins as it poses a health hazard.


• Phase 2 of the installation of ‘dragons’ teeth on roadside verges will commence shortly along Dorchester Road. Householders affected will be notifi ed before work commences.


• The grass bank at the top of Moorland Way will be improved with the planting of trees, shrubs and bulbs – funded with grants from the Turbary Trust and Upton in Bloom – sincere thanks to both organisations.


New Councillor


The Town Council welcomes new councillor Mr Kev Brooks serving on Amenities and Environment. Kev is keen to get involved with our various projects.
