Great Strength: LOVE in The MIdst of It All: Local Super Heroes Alert! From Ari, Ken, Forrest & Lynn(& Family) Of Sun Pacifi c Mortgage & Real Estate
Editors Note: Ari & husband Ken (with their two children on a cruise earlier this year), mortgage lenders at Sun Pacifi c Morgage and good friends of Upbeat Times lost their home in the swift fi res as of recent. In the midst of it all, Ari & Fam- ily managed to mention all the positive
things/reactions and
incredible observations of the great strength of all who came together and those who also lost everything except lives.
Their lives being
their the
most important of all, and still with great losses helped oth- ers. What follows are just small tidbits she sent us at Upbeat Times, of some of the greatness she and her family observed at the time the fi res were in prog- ress and afterwards.
HERE is a Portion: ● To the many men and wom-
en fi refi ghters and police from multiple counties as well as armed forces who have come to Sonoma County to selfl essly help fi ght these wildfi res.
● Monday evening there was no place to eat, all the restau- rants were closed. We
found Out-
back Steakhouse in Rohnert Park open with just one waiter who had decided to come in on his day
off and help serve those he knew would be in need. He was smiling and so were we!
● For a while we could not fi nd a grocery store that was open. We fi nally discovered Safeway on 4th Street open. We were

● Day after the major fi res started, IHOP was open, with
told by the wonderful clerks who decided to work that the manager’s house burned down and at 2:00 am he brought his wife and kids to the store. He then called as many clerks in as
only 1 cook, who had decided to come in and help, despite the loss and devastation of the fi re.

sonally bought and delivered 40 whole chicken
dinners,
12 pizzas to the SR Veterans building for those that need it!!! Super He- roes!!!!
● Santa Rosa Chi-
ropractor, Dr. Trevor Del Pape, corralled a group of other Chi- ropractors and since day 1 of the fi re, has been giving adjust- ments to the fi refi ghters at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds from morning until night.
● Phase 3, a local martial arts do-jo and after-school care program for kids, opened their doors again for full-time care for kids so parents could get back to work. They also had took charge to gather donations and lend their do-jo facilities to those who lost their homes.
