Lytchett Minster & Upton Gardening Club Programe for 2017:


We do not meet in December or January, but are busy planning our 2018 programme. Look out for it in the February 2018 issue of the magazine.


Work is continuing on the flower bed behind the clocktower, which celebrates our 75th anniversary. Hopefully you have all had a chance to see the lovely mural there. Our continued thanks for the ‘Upton in Bloom’ team and volunteers who have made Upton look so colourful again this year, with lots of local interest regarding local clubs, etc.


On Thursday October 26th at 7.30pm, Reverend Timbrell will present “Discovering Dorset – Part 3” at Upton Community Centre, Poole Road, Upton BH16 5HY.


Reverend Timbrell’s presentations are highly amusing. This evening will be one of the highlights of our meetings this year. Don’t miss an evening of laughter and information about Dorset. Our visitor’s fee of £3 includes tea/coffee and biscuits. You are welcome!

The Upton and Lytchett Allotment Association (ULMAA)


Fancy a bit of exercise, but not in the gym? An allotment is cheaper than a year’s subscription and you get fresh produce!


If you are a resident in Upton or Lytchett Minster and would like an allotment, we have a few vacancies for ½ or mini plots available. Our fees are very reasonable and we have regular coffee mornings and events to support our projects, which improve facilities on the site.
