Welcome to the September issue

It’s back to school already! There are lots of new clubs starting this month, so take a look at page 27 for Pilates and Argentine Tango classes, page 29 for the low down on Jazzercise classes, upcoming events at the Lytchett Minster & Upton Gardening Club on page 24, and the Junction Leisure Centre has a special offer on membership in September on page 18. There are also a number of local events as always, see page 28.

Congratulations to the Lytchett Minster & Upton Carnival and Art Festival committees for another fantastic year – see the pictures on pages 6-7. We love the Trolls float!

In this month’s issue, the Town Council is looking for Remembrance Parade marshalls and future Town Councillors (pg16), the Upton in Bloom committee would like to thank its supporters this year (pg22), the Keep Upton Tidy team is looking for people to come along to the next Community Litter Pick (pg30), and the Partners & Communities Together group is looking for Speedwatch volunteers (pg32) and would like to invite you to the next PACT meeting.

Welcome to new advertisers Solar Motorhome Hire (pg2), Kaz Cleaning (pg8) and Prime Heat (pg25). If you would like to advertise in any of our local community magazines in Upton, Broadstone and Corfe Mullen, please don’t hesitate to contact us – we would be more than happy to discuss your requirements.
