As our annual cycle nears its culmination, a BIG THANK YOU is in order to all those local residents who have helped us this year with:


• Planting and weeding • Providing raffl e prizes • Carpentry and sign making • Managing the stall at the carnival (we made nearly £300)


• Stewarding at the Horticultural show.


And thank you specifi cally to: • The town council offi ce staff, who do so much unseen but vital support work


• The team who met and greeted the In Bloom judges, and showed them the town (results will be out soon in mid-September)
