Planning is underway for Fling 2018 and we are looking for feedback and help from the community.


We are looking for answers to the following questions: Should we continue with the four day format? Jazz on Thursday, Kids Disco and Family dance on the Friday, Fling by the River and Fling Concert on the Saturday and fi nally the Folk Club Survivors on the Sunday evening?

Throughout May there are lots of preparatory jobs to be done and these have traditionally been carried out by the committee and friends, last year we had about a 2000 crowd at the Fling by the River with all the setting up and tidying away undertaken by only 12. What we need is some assistance through May and particularly over the Fling weekend.
