News of a forthcoming event was given to members at the meeting on the 18th July. President John Spittal and member George McIntosh gave details of the forthcoming “St Andrews Got Talent” contest, organised by Madras Col lege Communi ty Use and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kilrymont St Andrews. Auditions will take place in Madras Kilrymont school hall on Thursday August 24 and are open to talented individuals of all ages and skills. The final will be on Thursday September 7, also in Kilrymont School Hall. Singers, dancers, musicians, magicians – whatever talents, should begin rehearsing their acts for the big event. Details of how to enter are on posters currently being distributed throughout the Town. To support those taking part, a good turnout of members is asked for.


Another Summer is upon us and we have a beautiful show of annuals in our planters near the Community Hospital. A lovely display for those entering St Andrews from the Leven road, going to shop at Morrisons, visiting or attending the doctor or dentist. Thanks to all who have offered to feed and water them.
