San Francisco, CA. ~ There was a full team on the field at AT&T Park recently with nine kids from underserved neigh- borhoods across the Santa Rosa region, who got a once in a lifetime chance to play in the big leagues with the San Francisco Giants. This special occasion on the AT&T ball field was made possible through a program called “Kids Take the Field” with Bank of America
by Zach Spirer, Upbeat News contact from Weber Shandwick in San Francisco. ~

and Valley of the Moon Chil- dren’s Foundation – an organi- zation that helps create a safe haven for children in need by providing support and educa- tional services.
Giants players like Brandon Crawford and Joe Panik joined the junior league players, who received autographed base- balls as well as tickets to at- tend future Giants games for themselves, their family and
friends.
As part of Kids Take the Field, Bank of America invites a local nonprofit that serves youth and families to take the field before Giants home games, creating incredible memories for years to come for these kids and their families.

give the age, since Ellie insists that like Jack Benny she’ll happily stick with “39.” –She’s a writer, artist, translator—oh yes, from NYC, with European ancestry. And drinks too much coffee.)
