News From Westminster
This month has been as busy as any other, following the re-assembling of Parliament and the Queen’s Speech. Despite quite fi erce opposition, the Queen’s Speech was voted through, which means that the government is in place and legislation can be debated and passed. with pushchairs and those walking with small children. Please do take this into consideration before parking on the pavement so we can all stay as safe as possible.
Here in Dorset, I had the exciting opportunity to see the inaugural train journey between Swanage and Wareham. There is a regular timetable over the summer, and I hope that this will in time
establish a regular service throughout the year and help to relieve some of the congestion on our roads.
I continue to hold regular surgeries for constituents. If you have an issue that you need help with, please do get in touch.
