usan Stout and her family were visiting from Olive Branch, Miss., when they spotted signs for Loco Ropes in Mountain View.


They had no intention of stopping, but her son Isaac, 8, and husband, Chasen, wanted to give it a shot.


Soon the Stout family were immersed in an Arkansas treetop adventure.


“It was amazing,” Susan said. “It was not on my bucket list, not on my agenda, I did not want to do it. I was scared. I was the slowest one and biggest chicken, but it was beautiful up there and it was so worth it. It was a great family experience.”

You must be at least 43 inches tall and weigh less than 290 pounds to tackle the Loco lines 1-3. If you are a family, one adult is needed for every two participants younger than 12 and 58 inches tall. Chil- dren 12 and older and 58 inches and taller, may be supervised from the ground.


Walk-ins are welcome for the Flying or Screamin’ Pig ZipLines (300 foot zipline), HotShot FreeFall or Planks Peak Climbing Wall if you are at least 30 pounds and weigh less than 250 pounds. Those rides are $7.50 each (receive two free with every four you purchase with a Tower Power Pack that you can share with family and friends).
