MR: “Ha! Yes, that’s the beauty of it, you don’t, we make advanced technology down to Earth and easy to understand and leave some intelligence for the machine to get on with!”

AZO feeding system transfers the sugar powder via pipes from a tank to a Kilian tabletting press. This machine presses the sugar to compressed tabs. Our feeding system is directly connected to the Kilian Press, and feeds the products to our wrapping machine. Finally, the sugar tabs are wrapped in flow packs by a Theegarten-Pactec FPC5. To generate product chains, the FPC5 is equipped with a second cross sealing unit. The so-called chain module separates the chain of flow-packs after a defined number of packages. The manufacturer can then either offer the product chains at point of sale as a package, or as individual tear-off packages. While the exhibited processing and packaging line produces and packs sugar cubes, it can also be used to package soup cubes, stock, powder cubes as well. The machine is capable of

wrapping 1,500 single wrapped tablets per minute and that again is a very high speed so it will create renewed interest. We also have a new machine from cut and wrap for bubble and chewing gum. As you know, Theegarten’s existing machine for this type of confectionery is our (if not the), most sold machine of its type in the world. However, the company’s new U1-D-CW/F3 wrapping machine – is the same size machine, and actually doubles the production capacity from 1,000 pieces a minute to 2,000 pieces with no increased space required. This increase in speed was based on customer demand and combines our technology from our technology for chewy candy. It’s a very nice unit to showcase, as in addition to doubling

MR: “Yes, Theegarten-Pactec is developing very nicely! It is a comfortable market, and we have very happy customers and that’s the most important aspect. We are fast moving and developing worldwide – we always try to keep up with the times (as evidenced by our brand new headquarters which opened in 2015), and our useful innovation continues to deliver. There is much more to come!”
