Kennedy's Bakery Production Kennedy's 1-2-1

Mainly, companies tend to keep things a secret for Interpack and then kerpow, there is an avalanche! Will you be in the same place at Interpack”?

MR: “Absolutely! Theegarten-Pactec’s stand at the last Interpack made quite an impression with visitors – we are in the same location in 2017 – Hall 4, Stand A21. At 800 m² (the same size as before), it is in the top five percent of the largest stand sizes at the show. So we are very excited to be able demonstrate our full potential in Dusseldorf. A wide range of Theegarten-Pactec’s portfolio will be showcased, including 11 different lines (four of which will be completely new). We are proud of not only introducing new equipment at the show, but prominently featuring our known equipment too”.

AK: “What is the first innovation you would like to share with us?”

MR: “We have four new lines. Firstly we are launching the ”New chocolate fold wrapper. The CFW-D offers major output increase, a bigger variety of products, and ease-of-use. The design and built-in intelligence means that the machine is also easy to operate. In terms of speed, the new wrapper can fold now, record 1,400 pieces of chocolate a minute, which we are very happy to present. The design is modular (with a different version available), and it is also a high-

speed machine as you can see.” Secondly we are launching our updated generator FPC5. We are moving into the realms of ‘wrapper intelligence’. This is a device that detects, traces and tells the operator when it needs cleaning for example, servicing, faults, and replacements and a lot more. We provide much more information, for example, the percentage how parts are wearing out in real time.”

AK: “Yes like when my car that tells me, when the weather gets cold that the tyres need adjusting. It then refuses to drive fast so I can’t have a crash, Very annoying!”

MR: “Yes now that’s a great example. It’s safer, it’s preventing damage, and moreover, the machine is providing you, the operator, with information on its potential optimum performance and how to achieve that. So you have to change the pressures, as the machine

is responding to not being attended to, and not being at its most efficient. This is what we want to achieve on the factory floor. Machines that make it known how good they are and can be if they are not. It’s even more important when we are wrapping at 1400 a minute, so these small adjustments make huge differences to efficiencies over 12 months. This is the same with any Theegarten- Pactec machine, and why they are so popular. Everything we do is designed to assist the operator in achieving optimum efficiency, quick changeover times, and outstanding performance. Whether they are new to the factory floor or have been there for many years, the machine assists itself and the operator in its objective.”

AK: “Beautifully put Mr Rustler, so this allows an overall increase in efficiency, and reduces downtime, well it demands it, not allows it, better right?

MR: “Precisely, and no better can that be seen in our new First intelligence flow wrapper.”

AK: “Possibly the first intelligence wrapper to the market Mr Rustler”

MR: “Yes we believe so and this concept of intelligence is something that you will discover right across our range of equipment when you come to see us in May.”

AK: “I can’t wait, so what else will you be showcasing?”

MR: Well, we are also demonstrating in cooperation with AZO and Kilian an automated line for pressing and wrapping of compressed sugar. The
