Well my angel survived four days away from us in Granada on her school trip and thoroughly enjoyed herself, more to the point we as parents also survived!! They were staying in log cabins with fantastic facilities and spent their days visiting an olive oil factory, which I am told was quite boring, a multi adventure park, rock climbing, zip line and sports activities, playing in the pool and a visit to the science museum,


which she found fascinating. As parents, we spent our evenings visiting our local haunts, as the house was just too quiet!!


We are now less than one week away from our holiday around the Med and couldn’t be more excited. For the last month I have been dieting hard in preparation for the over indulgence that I know will happen whilst away. These all inclusive holidays do nothing for your figure so I thought it was best to lose a bit before we go, to compensate. As we have friends accompanying us this year I have a strange feeling that I may well be in need of another more restful holiday after this one!


Don’t forget we are almost in fiesta season again, with Rojales celebrations starting on the 28th June and continuing throughout the weekend. So, if you fancy a weekend of local culture, or partying way into the night, then head down to the village. Unfortunately all the events will be over by the time I return from my jollies, but I’m sure I can catch up with another fiesta later in the summer.
