The Butterfly Children Charity, DEBRA is a National Charity working on behalf of children in Spain with an incurable genetic skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). It is given the name Butterfly Skin because the children


who suffer from the condition have skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wing. It causes severe blistering and open wounds to the skin, eyes and internally within the digestive and respiratory system. The children suffering from the condition require intensive daily care and support from their family.


The Butterfly Children Charity, DEBRA provides specialist EB nursing, counselling, welfare and respite. We have 9 Charity shops and Fund Raising events all over Spain which provides funds to support these children.


Our mission is to keep growing so we can maintain the support for the butterfly children and their families and strive to find a cure for this complex condition. You can help us by visiting our charity shops or attending our charity events.
