law Continued growth for Blandy & Blandy LLP

‘Strong and sustainable’ is how Philip D’Arcy, joint managing partner at leading Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy LLP, describes the firm’s continued growth and performance

The past year has been one of change for one of the region’s longest established firms, with Blandy & Blandy opening an office in Henley-on-Thames last summer following the acquisition of a longstanding smaller firm in the town.

With the recent arrivals of senior solicitors Stephen Bucknill and Louise Nelson, in the firm’s residential property and probate, tax and trusts teams respectively, Blandy & Blandy is “committed to investing in Henley” according to D’Arcy, in order to “widen access to our full range of legal services to clients based or working in the town and surrounding areas.”

The firm hosts a growing number of events in and around Henley-on-Thames, ranging from a series of free drop in advice clinics, to welcoming guests to Henley Regatta, as well as summer and Christmas receptions.

Now home to 20 partners and 60 lawyers and advisers, Blandy & Blandy’s headcount has risen by just under 20% since May 2016.

Featuring in the Thames Valley SME 100 Growth Index, a listing of the region’s fastest-growing small and medium-sized enterprises, the firm’s turnover has also increased by nearly one third in four years.

Asked what the year ahead holds for Blandy & Blandy, D’Arcy said, “More of the same – hopefully. We are looking forward to further strengthening our presence in Henley-on-Thames and to continuing to develop our relationships with new clients and colleagues in the professional community.

“As ever, we will be listening to and engaging with all of

our clients, to ensure that we are meeting their needs and expectations and always improving on the excellent level of client care the firm provides.”
