Hospice House is a 12-bed, 14,000-square-foot in-patient facility for the acute, residential or respite care needs of hospice patients. Both hospice in the home and Hospice House offer a comprehensive team approach to taking care of the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of hospice patients. Hospice of the Ozarks Transitions Program 508-1771 Provides practical support to those who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. The transitions coordinator provides case management and can coordinate needs with other community resources and support services. Volunteers also can provide companionship, transportation to appointments, grocery shopping and support, and may run errands. Services are free; volunteers provide transportation to local health care and other appointments, shopping assistance, errands, respite to primary caregivers, minor home repairs, installation of safety equipment and friendly visiting.
