SENIOR CENTERS

Area senior centers provide various services, including transportation, meals and activities. Participants must be 60 or older, or be the spouse of someone 60 or older who attends the center. Under very limited circumstances, services may be provided to some clients who are younger than 60. The programs rely heavily on contributions for meals and transportation services. At some of the centers, funding is allocated based on low-income participants.
