See you there, dudes.

17 January Rattle Baby Disco Open

Since becoming a parent you may have thought your clubbing days were behind you (along with solo toilet trips, lie-ins and hot beverages) but that doesn't have to be the case. Rattle is Norwich’s first baby disco, creating a sensory wonderland for both big and small people to enjoy together. With the best dance tunes from the 40s to the noughties, musical instruments, and disco decorations that put Saturday Night Fever to shame, you have no excuse not to “get up off of that thing”. When little legs start to get tired, they can take a break from dancing and enjoy crafts, messy play and a chill- out/refreshment area. 2-4pm, £8 adults, £5 for over 5’s and under 1’s go free.

January Teatre Royal Norwich

January begins, oh yes it does, with pantomime fun. Go check out Jennifer Ellison as the wicked Queen Evilynne in Snow White until Jan 17th. Ten expect some spectacular shiz from Jan 19th-23rd as the Russian Ice Stars present Cirque De Glace. Some of the world’s finest skaters bring the story of the creation and evolution of the world to life, all on ice. Get swept away with fantastic set pieces and stunning effects. If you’re after something a bit more classic, there’s the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Sunset Boulevard from January 25th-30th. Presented by the Norfolk and Norwich Operatic Society, it follows the story of faded starlet Norma Desmond who spots an attempt to get back in the spotlight.
