A Word from Our Mayor Domestic violence turns a meaningful existence into
desperation. Bullying turns a young person’s innocence into depression. One in four women will experience domestic abuse in her lifetime and hundreds of youths will experi- ence bullying in theirs. These victims are devastated by the violent, cowardly acts of others. It takes a kind-hearted,
empathetic community to reverse these actions by stepping forward to make a difference in the lives of those who have been violated. Sincere gratitude and thanks goes to the Precious Hearts Foundation for their commit-
ment to support and advocate for victims who need a stronger heart and voice when they can- not find their own. Creating a safe place for our local victims makes the Precious Hearts Foun- dation a valuable asset in Palm Coast. Its programs bring pride and respect from our entire community. Working together, we can shift crises to confidence. With hope for a continuing positive future.
