The cost of retrofitting is very steep indeed. Your client needs to be apprised of these considerations early in the planning process, if at all possible.


Aside from budgets, many other aspects need to be examined. Placement of sculpture onsite is also a consideration for you and your client. Where is the optimal site? Prime sight lines need to be determined. Insuring


the least amount of interference to pedestrian flow may be important and vehicular traffic should always be looked at. Consultation with the client and others involved in the construction of the project is imperative.


As always, communication with others involved needs to be transparent and ongoing. For large projects timing is all-important. Coordinating with other contractors means saved time and costs for your client and for yourself. Inform your client of all changes or delays as soon as possible and try- really try- to deliver on schedule.
