With the summer finally here Translink is encouraging people to get up and go by taking advantage of great value bus and rail offers. Translink has a range of great value summer offers available throughout July and August to help passengers make the most of their free time and travel smart by saving money on fuel and parking costs.
Make it a staycation With more people opting for ʻstaycationsʼ this
year, why not explore the many breath‑taking sights Northern Ireland has to offer, all without the need to go abroad. Explore the North Coast or visit the 2013 UK City of Culture, Derry/Londonderry, or enjoy shopping in a different town or city with Translinkʼs great deals.
The iLink cards are valid for integrated travel offering unlimited day, weekly or monthly travel on Metro, NI Railways and Ulsterbus services, throughout five specified zones in Northern Ireland. The new iLink card for the North West area also allows passengers to travel between Derry/Londonderry, Limavady, Coleraine, Dungiven and the Giants Causeway, where the new Causeway Centre opens in July is sure to be an attraction worth seeing and exploring.
Translink Friends and Family tickets Translink also operates a Translink Friends and Family ticket for just £20 up to 2 adults + 4 children ‒ group must include at least one adult and one child (£4 for additional children). This offers unlimited travel by bus and rail for two adults and up to four children on any scheduled bus or rail services within Northern Ireland. If you want to experience the many attractions, events and activities that Belfast has to offer you can enjoy great family days out with the £9 Metro Family and Friends day ticket which offers unlimited travel for one day for up to two adults and four children across all Metro services throughout greater Belfast.
Bus Rambler
Why not ramble around areas of outstanding natural beauty across Northern Ireland by using one of the Bus Rambler tickets for just £9 which provides unlimited travel across Ulsterbus, Goldline and Metro day travel after 9.15am. Take the Mourne Rambler service in Newcastle town centre to explore the rocky inlets and beaches
around the foothills of the mountains or hop on the Sperrin rambler to enjoy beautiful scenery and long walks.
