Education minister John OʼDowd met with leading members of the Northern Ireland business community on 25 April at an In Camera dinner organised by Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce. Speaking after the event the minister commented: “Education and business have a joint role in preparing our young people for the world of work. These Chamber of Commerce in Camera events are the ideal platform for our most forward‑thinking business minds to exchange views with government on how we can build and deliver future prosperity for our society.

The In Camera dinner provides a great opportunity for Ministerʼs such as myself to access key stakeholders from the business community and to understand their issues directly in a face‑to‑face environment.”
