There will be more than 20 great
artists performing over the weekend, including Luke Austen, sister duo Baylou, Mitchell Shadlow, Tara Naysmith, Victoria McGee, Shahnae Pakoti, Kristen Lane and the Viper Creek Band. On the Friday night, Gina Jeffreys,
who is celebrating 20 years since winning the Toyota Star Maker Quest, will perform. She will be supported by four young women she is mentoring,
who perform as the Apprentices. The Saturday night is the 4
Highwaymen – Bruce McCumstie as Willie Nelson, Rob Wilson as Waylon Jennings, Bryen Willems as Kris Kristofferson and Alan Bowles as Johnny Cash, celebrating the memories of four of the greatest country music legends of all time. This show played to a sold-out audience at Tamworth Country Music Festival this year. McCumstie, who is a well-known and
much-loved Australian country music singer and songwriter, will perform again on Sunday. Also on Sunday’s bill will be Steve Passfi eld, whose folk and bluegrass infl uences are very much in evidence in his songwriting with a diverse collection songs, Dianne Lindsay with Peter Simpson, Karen Lynne, Peter Pratt, Lee Forster and local legend Slim Newton of Red Back on the Toilet Seat fame.
