help individuals and their families understand and manage triggers that may lead to challenging
behaviours. “LeapFrog ability is a leader in
the Hunter region in behavioural assessment and the development of management plans for people and their families facing these types of challenges,” Mr Mitchell said. “T e education and resource
centre also plays a vital role in providing education to other community groups on the special needs of people with specifi c intellectual disabilities.” T e LeapFrog ability
education and resource centre, at 101 Maitland Road, Islington, offi cially opened last T ursday.
