brought home a second place in the organisation category and a third in the employee category at the 2012 Aged and Community Services state awards for excellence. T e aged care division of the Anglican
Diocese of Newcastle was shortlisted for both the organisation and employee categories for their commitment to providing excellent care and a quality lifestyle to residents through the implementation of new and innovative services and programs. “To be recognised as one of the best aged care providers throughout NSW and the ACT is a great honour for Anglican Care,” Anglican Care marketing and executive support manager Kylie Jacques said. “We hold very

T is is the fi fth year Anglican Care has been recognised in these awards, having won the individual award in 2006, the organisation award in 2009, runner-up in both organisation and media categories in 2010, and the media category in 2011. T e ACS State Awards for Excellence promote and recognise excellence in a range of areas that contribute to the quality of life of older people, people with disabilities and/or their careers. T e awards also acknowledge eff orts to increase public confi dence and community involvement in aged and community care services.
