Ronstar 2G Granules 20kg
NOW WITH SPECIFIC OFF-LABEL APPROVAL FOR ORNAMENTAL SHRUB BEDS (20102995) RONSTAR 2G is a granular herbicide which contains the active ingredient oxadiazon. This broad- spectrum herbicide will control most annual broad leaf weeds and grasses. Ronstar 2G is created as a granule to give pre-emergence residual control of the weeds, while offering maximum levels of crop safety.
How Ronstar 2G works
When Ronstar 2G is applied to moist soil, it dissolves, which forms an invisible barrier against germinating weeds. As weed seeds germinate and grow emerge up through the soil surface, they pick up the herbicide through the shoots and die. Weed control should be effective for up to 3 months. There is no uptake of herbicide via the roots and it is this property of RONSTAR 2G that ensures safety to the plant.
Weeds Controlled Weed species controlled include the following:
Annual Meadow Grass, Annual Nettle, Black-bindweed, Black Nightshade, Charlock, Cleavers, Corn Spurrey, Corn Poppy, Docks (from seed), Fat Hen, Forget-me-not, Fumitory, Groundsel, Hairy Bitter-cress, Italian Ryegrass, Knotgrass, Liverwort (partial control), Mayweed (some species), Orache, Oxalis Spp, Red Deadnettle, Redshank, Runch (Wild Radish), Scarlet Pimpernel, Shepherds Purse, Small Nettle, Smooth Meadow Grass, Sowthistles, Speedwells, Sun Spurge, Willowherb (from seed) and Wild Oat.
Application Rate: 1kg per 100m maximum. Contains: oxadiazon Mapp No: 12965

Timbrel 3L/5L
Timbrel is an effective selective scrub and brushwood herbicide. Controls a wide range of woody weeds while being selective to grass
Very few herbicides available for scrub control offer the grass selectively required for conservation areas, industrial sites and road sides. In contrast, Timbrel does not harm grasses and can be used with confidence where cover needs to be maintained.
Cut stump treatment
Used to prevent re-growth of trees following felling or pruning at any time of the year except during spring sap flow - 20/80mls/ litre of water, paraffin or diesel oil.
Foliage sprays
Designed for brush and scrub clearance, when woody and perennial herbaceous weeds are actively growing in the spring or summer - 2- 8l/ha in 200-300l water.
Knapsack Rate: 100ml - 400ml in 10l water
Contains: 667g/litre (44.3% w.w) triclopyr butoxy ethyl ester (480 g/litre triclopyr acid equivalent). Mapp No: 5815
Blaster 1L
A foliar acting herbicide for the control of perennial broad-leaved weeds including NETTLES, DOCKS, THISTLES, BRAMBLES, BROOM and GORSE in established grassland and amenity grassland.
Directions for use
Perennial Weed Control on Established Grassland and Amenity Grassland 2-4 litres/ha
Overall application
The timing of the application of BLASTER herbicide is crucial. For good results the product must be applied to actively growing weeds.
Spot treatments
On grassland where weed populations are too low to justify overall spraying, all the above weeds will be controlled by a spot treatment of 60mls BLASTER in 10 litres of water. The weeds should be thoroughly wetted with the spray solution but not to run off as this will decrease the activity.
Contains: 60g/l clopyralid, 240g/l triclopyr Mapp No: 13267
BLASTER IS A TRADEMARK OF DOW AGROSCIENCES Finale 5L
Finale is a non-selective herbicide. It controls grasses and broad-leaved weeds. Use for weed control around non-edible ornamental crops including trees and shrubs and in tree nurseries. May be used to ‘burn-off’ weeds in shrub beds prior to treatment with residual herbicide. Also widely used to ‘burn out’ lines for the marking in winter sports pitches
Application Rate: 5l/ha in 200-500l water Knapsack Rate: 250ml in 10l water
Contains: 120g/l (11.33% w/w) glufosinate- ammonium Mapp No: 10092
