amenity.co.uk website and our new revamped trade counter means we have never been better placed to serve you in our goal of creating the very best standards in sportsturf, landscapes, lawns and horticulture, irrespective of whether you are one of our national stadium clients, an esteemed golf course or simply a proud domestic lawn owner.
ALS currently employs around forty staff, many of whom are
professionally qualified amenity agronomists with BASIS and NPTC qualifications to complement extensive practical and field experience. Specialist advisory services are available for ecology,
summer and winter sports turf care and irrigation.
We are main distributors for a number of leading amenity product manufacturers and suppliers, such as Bayer Environmental Science, Syngenta, Everris (previously known as Scotts), Lebanon Turf Fertiliser, Limagrain, DLF Seeds, Headland and Albaugh. Alongside exclusive distribution on many leading branded products we also have our own ‘Premier Range’ offering quality at a price to suit today’s turf manager.
We exclusively distribute the ultra low volume (ULV) Mankar® and EasySpray®
whilst our Natural Solutions® features organic and recycled products.
Logistically we realise the importance of reacting quickly to the requirements of your turf and, with many products, offer a 24 hour delivery service to mainland UK on request and also export worldwide.
Whilst our core business focuses on products and specialist advice, our experienced contract services team focus on pesticide spraying, turf renovation and turf drainage. Spraying covers a wide area of operations from sportsturf to highways and streets to bracken spraying.
We have a specialised training department with links to leading industry education bodies and qualification boards. So, whether you are looking to achieve an NPTC pesticide spraying certificate or attend one of our exclusive LANTRA accredited training days such as ‘Winter Sports Turf Maintenance’, we can help.

ALS Contracts has over 20 years
experience with a dedicated team of operators. Dave and Jan
Harvey coordinated quotations, bookings and job allocations, doing their utmost to ensure that all your needs are met. In emergencies they will do their best to attend within 24/36 hours. If poor weather intervenes they will liaise in advance and rebook, starting as early as you like to ensure minimal disruption to play.
