The philosophy of the Designer brand has always been to deliver a range of amenity grass mixtures which meet the exact requirements of varied end users - whether they be landscapers, local authorities or sports clubs.
Being part of the world’s 4th largest seed company Limagrain also has access to a wide range of amenity grass cultivars which they can select for inclusion in the various mixtures in the Designer range.

Limagrains new and very well equipped seed-testing laboratory they monitor the purity and germination of all the grasses which are used in the Designer range.
All of the Designer range has been Headstart® treated, this unique and innovative product is based on a seaweed extract with a high cytoquinine content. Headstart® provides a faster germination and emergence - especially under less than favourable growing conditions. For example, under difficult conditions Headstart® treated seed has the potential to deliver 70% more plants than seed which has not been treated.
