Re-Act 5L/10L


A selective weed-killer for the control of many annual and perennial weeds in managed amenity turf. It is a non-ester formulation, so will not vaporise in hot conditions.


Scotts Re-Act can be used as a selective turf herbicide on all types of established managed amenity turf. Application is best started in spring. Where difficult weeds exist follow up sprays will be necessary.


Repeat application can be made 4-6 weeks after the first spray, provided good growing conditions have been maintained.


Application Rate: 3.5-5.5l/ha in 200 litres water. Knapsack Rate: 175-275ml in 10l water

Premier Amenity Selective 5L


Probably the best broad spectrum ‘value’ grass weed selective for quality turf areas. ALS Premier Amenity Selective was specially formulated for ALS’s large golf course contract spraying operations on fairways and sports turf. Especially good at tackling the more difficult weeds such as clovers, yarrow and trefoils, a common problem on fairways and similar areas.


Application Rate: 6l/ha in good growing conditions.

Praxys 5L is a translocated selective

Praxys is a systemic post-emergence herbicide from Scotts. Praxys rapidly enters target weeds, travelling through the whole plant to give complete weed destruction. Selective, systemic post emergence herbicide for managed amenity turf, lawns and amenity grassland

Praxys has no LERAP restrictions, meaning that it is ideal for use alongside water features, lakes and drainage channels.


Weeds Controlled: Controls bird’s foot trefoil, black medick, bristly oxtongue, common cat’s-ear, creeping cinquefoil, sorrel, white clover.


Application Rate: 1-2l per ha in 200l water


Knapsack Rate: 50-100ml in 10l water. Maximum of 1 application per year.

Spearhead 5L


Spearhead is a selective herbicide for the control of a wide variety of broad leaved weeds in established turf. These include speedwell, daisy, clover, buttercup and dandelion. Young turf in the spring or early summer may be ready for spraying approximately two months after germination, but turf sown in the late summer or autumn should not be sprayed until growth is resumed in the following spring, perhaps eight months after sowing.


Application Rate: 4-5 litres per ha in 200- 400l water


Knapsack Rate: 200-250ml in 10l water


Contains: 20g/l (1.72% w/w) clopyralid, 15.9g/l (1.45% w/w) diflufenican and 300g/l (25.9% w/w) mcpa Mapp No: 9941
