Kaloam 2011 is a good club quality loam with 38% clay content and can be used to top dress over and create a firm cricket wicket. Binders have a reputation for excellence in the quality control and formulation of loams and and this expertise has been used to create a Kaloam for 2011.

BSEN 1177: 2008 Play Sand and Jump Pit Sand - Complies with latest British Standard in play sand.
Play Sand is double washed to give the appearance of a tropical Caribbean type sand, popular for activities such as beach sports, parties, photo shoots as well as play areas.
Whether you are creating a play pit, a children’s area in a school or beach volley ball court for adults, our safety screened play sand will allow you to create an attractive and safe surface.
The impact parameters are pertinent to the equipment manufacturers and installation contractors where the depth of impact attenuating materials correspond to a critical fall height.
Values are given in BS EN 1177 as guideline values - for example a sand depth of 300mm will have a corresponding maximum critical fall height of <3000mm.

Sports Renovation Mix
The perfect material for end of season renovation work or interim repairs on football and rugby pitches. Equally suitable for repairing divots and dressing tees or approaches. Consisting of a blend of Norfolk sandy loam and sports sand used to produce a high quality, versatile growing medium. The mix is ideal for the restoration of areas
affected by high volumes of foot traffic or vehicle damage.
Blended approximately 50\50 BS 37 sports sand/ Norfolk topsoil. Screened to 5ml.

SANDS AND SOILS
ALS supply and recommend a range of sands, soils and top dressings for varying applications. It is important to use the correct type and grade for each application and we will be happy to quote and advise. All are available in 10, 20 and 25 tonne loads.
Kiln Dried Sand
Kiln dried sand 30-50 grade ideal drainage material because of its free flowing form. Kiln dried sand absorbs excess water on playing surfaces, improving the appearance of lawns, greens and enabling the Groundsman to carry out more work and get games in doubt to go ahead.
Moist 50 Sand
Moist 50 Sand is a medium washed sand ideal for bunkers and dressings.
Moist 60 Sand
Moist 60 sand is a medium washed sand ideal for top dressing on winter sports Pitches.
Moneystone Bunker Sand
For golf course bunkers. A top quality gritty white sand which does not cap
Rootzone
Rootzone is available in various sand/loam ratios in medium/fine or medium/coarse grades. With an ideal pH this quality product is cost effective to meet construction or maintenance requirements for all sports surfaces. Unsterilised mixes available.
Sterilised Sand/Soil Mixes
Perfect for end of season renovation work or interim repair work. Dried, sterilised and free flowing which can be easily spread by hand or broadcast through a mechanical dresser. Mixed to the ratio of your choice 80/20, 70/30, 50/50 etc.
10mm Screened Top Soil
Ideal for use on large-scale groundworks, landscape projects or where the existing soil is of poor quality. Fully complies with British Standard Topsoil, (BS 3882 certified) and perfect to create stunning gardens, grounds and landscapes.
