Top gaited horse trainer and author of the new book, “Freedom To Gait”, Anita believes that real gait comes from balance, posture and impulsion of a horse, never from what’s nailed on his feet or other crutches. Anita uses a foundation of training based on the understanding that movement affected through mechanical aids does not last and may actually be detrimental to the horse, while classical and natural horsemanship allows a horse to brilliantly improve each and every year he’s ridden. By applying these beliefs, Anita has developed solutions for gaited breeds that consistently correct and improve balance, gait and athleticism and produce horses that are softer, happier and more correct in their movement, while giving riders the tools to help their horses release their inherent gaiting abilities. Anita was selected this year to be the gaited horse clinician at the MD Horse World Expo. Now is the chance to have her work with you and your horse.
