January 20 - 22, 2012 Welcome to the 16th Annual Maryland Horse World Expo! We are thrilled to present a dynamic Expo with

hundreds of vendors and many new and exciting products (plus lots of great bargains), all in an easily accessible layout. A preliminary list of vendors (with many new additions) can be found elsewhere in this issue (list not complete as of press time). An up-to-date vendor list can be found at www.horseworldexpo.com/MDfeatures.htm under "Vendor List by Category". While this list is updated daily, the best way to fi nd out who the vendors are is by coming to the show and visiting them personally!

In addition to an outstanding array of vendors for 2012, you will also notice an exciting new lineup of

clinicians and topics, lots of breeds being shown and exciting live performances being featured in the new Equi-tainment! A Musical Equine Variety Show. The 2012 Maryland Horse World Expo features many new clinicians, some that can only be seen in this area at this event, plus many new topics appealing to a wider range of disciplines, especially in the English disciplines. With a fresh look to the Expo and the clinic schedule, we believe you will fi nd more things than ever to interest you. Make sure you see some of the new features for 2012 including the debut of the Retired Racehorse Trainer Challenge by Steuart Pittman, the Trail Champions Challenge, daily roping contests, great giveaways and many more fun, family activities.

We are pleased to welcome back continuing sponsors and announce several new sponsors; Farm Credit, Days End Farm Horse Rescue, Nutrena, Downunder Horsemanship, Legacy Vanners, Emge Equine

Services, Fleenor Gate Company, The Equiery and FICS of Maryland. Our continuing partnership with these organizations proves that different segments of the horse industry can work together for the benefi t of all. For one weekend in January, horse people from throughout the East Coast travel to Timonium and converge

on Horse World Expo - so it is wise to book your hotel rooms early! Here at Horse World Expo, we showcase it all, from the top international trainers and competitors to hundreds of retail vendors selling every product imaginable for horses, from premiere regional stallions to demonstrations for every discipline, plus a parade of breeds and interactive activities for kids, such as the Maryland 4-H Art Contest, Girl Scout Scavenger Hunt (open to all girls K-12) and pony rides! No matter what your discipline or favorite breed, whether you are a lifelong horse person or just a casual admirer, there is something for you at the 2012 Maryland Horse World Expo; meet up with your riding buddies and share the day!
