Adjustment Workshop for Yoga Teachers

n February 26 from 2 to 5 p.m., Sanctuary Yoga
Studios will host a specialized Adjustment Workshop geared toward all yoga teachers, yoga teacher trainees and yoga thera- pists who are seeking to improve
their skills as a teacher. The workshop, facilitated by Mary Partridge, will give
yoga teachers the opportunity to go in depth with various types of adjustments. It will cover visual scanning and verbal queuing for individuals and groups. It also features hands- on adjustments at various levels including the ways to safely deepen a pose, the instructive mechanics and the subtle touch of enhancements that take the pose to a new level of experience. Brand new yoga teachers and trainees will gain a wealth of knowledge while more experienced instructors will learn some new tricks and tips. “The sign of a good yoga teacher is a hands-on teacher,”
says Nancy Mahon, owner of Sanctuary Yoga Studios. “We invite you to confidently take your adjustments to your stu- dents with this very special class.”
