The question is “How do I find the right balance in these areas for me?” An effective way to achieve health and wellness is to rewire your brain. Two
W
great tools to assist you in your rewiring job are self-hypnosis and visual imagery. They can help program your mind to think differently and to reframe your thoughts in positive and creative ways. Give yourself a pep talk and then use your imagina- tion to get your mind wires straight by trying the following:
• Relax and focus on your breathing. • Imagine that you have shrunk yourself to a miniature repair person, small enough to enter your body and travel to your brain.
• You go to your brain and see the wires that connect to the areas of sleep, nutrition and exercise.
• You then adjust and change all the wires, so that they provide maximum health and wellness.
• When properly rewired and completed, you promptly exit your brain and return to your original size and starting point. • Mission accomplished.
In this visual imagery process, you have conceived, believed and achieved. Now enjoy the new feelings of improved overall well-being.
