Association, will take place again this year on Satur- day, May 14, 2011 at Elgin Park in Uxbridge.
Each year is a new experience at the show with demonstrations, clin- ics, presentations, lectures

The Uxbridge Horse- men’s Association has been a part of the fabric of the Durham Region since 1986. It is a group of equine enthusiasts dedicat- ed to speaking for and about the local horse indus- try in Durham Region and surrounding areas.
This year the Main Ring will be hopping. Demonstrators will include Richard Thompson – a Canadian horse trainer and teacher of Natural Horsemanship. Richard has travelled the world teach- ing his own intuitive way of communicating with our horse friends. His presen- tations have a reputation for being fun, insightful, and mind-opening. In 2001 Richard, invited by the legendary Ray Hunt, was one of 100 horseman and teachers of Natural Horsemanship, from all over North America who, for two days in front of

Organizers will also be featuring the Hoofbeat Outriders Precision Drill Team. The Hoof Beat Out- riders are a group of west- ern riding performers that have an exciting show of drill team patterns ridden to
popular western music on horseback usually at the canter or gallop. They also perform other specialties such as vaulting and trick riding.
There are demonstra- tors signing up daily – other things you can expect will be Western Reining, free Liberty jumping demonstration, natural horsemanship “mini” style

The Everything Equine Trade Show brings together vendors, breed representation and experts in the various disciplines – Western, English, Dres- sage, Reining, Natural Horsemanship and Trail. With over 2000 equine facilities and 18000 horses in the surrounding regions, Durham Region is the heart of horse country. The Everything Equine show is your chance to mingle and meet with fellow enthusi- asts.
The show runs from 9:00 am (gates open at 8:30 am) to 6:00 pm. Admis- sion is $10 and provides access to the entire day’s activities with kids under 12 free. Elgin Park is located in mid-town Uxbridge.
