Feeding is carried out based on the condition of the pitch and soil analysis. Regular NPK feeds are applied throughout the season along with some applications of liquid iron and trace elements. The pitch does have some shading problems down one side with the new Railtrack stand casting a shadow across the pitch during the winter. Even in the summer months the shadow covers a third of the pitch. This, obviously, affects grass growth and recovery.
