FROM APRIL 1 to 30, Ennis — the Official Bluebonnet City of Texas — will showcase more than 40 miles of mapped bluebonnet trails, the oldest such trails known in the state. Tens of thousands of visitors make the trek out to Ennis to view the wonderful wildflower show every year. Starting this spring, members of the Ennis Garden Club will drive the trails and report to the Ennis Convention and Visitors Bureau about the latest status of the bluebonnets so that visitors can keep informed about where to see the best flowers at the time of their visit.
