ADVERTORIAL SENSORS & TRANSDUCERS A wireless Bluetooth pressure transducer - a world first! TDWLB Wireless bluetooth pressure transducer

to connect transducers to tablets and smartphones through the use of a downloadable free app. The device is perfect for any application where you need to monitor pressure without wires. Installation has never been easier; get the free app, install the transducer and connect wirelessly. Best of all, the transducer is built using Transducer Direct’s TD1000's proprietary technology, so you are guaranteed high quality and high accuracy. No more struggling to get access to units or disassembling plant, even in larger applications with multiple units. The TDWLB can be installed in minutes with the addition of a simple T fitting to a charge port. You then simply connect to the device through the internet, giving it a secure and unique name if you so wish, and you'll be able to access all of the necessary readings (transducer's pressure reading, temperature and battery alert). Thanks to its use of the certified NIST-traceable calibration, there is no need to worry about old gauges as the transducer becomes the accuracy standard. Alarms can also be set for high and low pressure alerts, so you can be proactive and deal with problems before they get out of hand. This revolutionary product is like nothing else on the market at present and points to the future of the pressure transducer world.

A Features:

• Stainless steel construction, allows for highly-accurate measurements regardless of pressure range selected • Connects to smartphones, tablets and PCs with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) Certified Bluetooth Wireless technology • Pressure ranges from Vacuum to 10,000 psi • Long battery life (proprietary technology) • One per cent standard accuracy (Optional 0.25 per cent ultra-high accuracy available) • Alarm set points • Secure field programmable naming • Avoids unnecessary service calls • No longer need hoses, tanks or gauges

New – High grade inclinometer

ensors UK announce the introduction of the all new Seika NA2-05 range of capacitive dielectric liquid based inclinometers, incorporating new highly stable laser-trimmed signal conditioning. The electronics offer improved compensation for temperature drift, highly stable supply voltage regulation circuitry and low pass filtering to eliminate unwanted noise. The NA2 requires minimal power and, with a capacitive primary transformer, is characterised by low errors, high signal-to-noise ratio and very high long-term stability. All models are ideal for measurements requiring small light devices, replacability, measurement of inclination from ±5º to a large ± 70º, and a normalised analogue output signal.

Applications examples include

measurement of inclination in measuring instruments and inspection equipment. In land and air vehicles, in automation and safety technology. On cranes, robots, and in the manufacture of scientific equipment. In medicine and telecommunications, as well as navigation systems.

up to 150°C. Space-saving and cost-effective, two important measurements can now be monitored using a single port. With no silicon oil, the new EPTTE3100 combined sensor features a well proven thin-film strain gauge pressure measuring cell for safe and reliable operation whilst the PT1000 platinum resistance element provides linear temperature measurement with proven reliability and long term stability. The new sensor is fully sealed to IP67 and is housed in a high strength stainless steel for maximum durability. With a 22 mm diameter and overall length around 60 mm, the sensor’s compact dimensions are complemented with a choice of industry standard M10 or 1/8” NPT pressure port interfaces and a 600 mm sheathed electrical connection cable for ease of installation. Nine pressure measuring ranges between 0.6 and 25 bar are available with a ratiometric output signal of 0.5... 4.5 V, whilst temperature measurement is from -50 to +150°C with Class B accuracy. With an operating temperature range of -20 to +125°C, very low electrical noise emissions and high resilience to shock and vibration, the sensor will suit demanding applications throughout motorsports as well as medical and industrial equipment such as autoclaves and steam sterilizers.
