RIVER NEWS two new suite ships to launch in 2016 A suite life for Avalon Waterways
Avalon Waterways is launching two more of its Suite Ships in 2016. The Avalon Imagery II and Avalon Passion will have two decks of Panorama Suites, each measuring 200 square feet and featuring a wall-to-wall glass door that opens two-thirds the width of the room to create an ‘indoor’ balcony. The line is also offering two
new cruises in the Low Countries next year. The first is an eight-day Charms of Belgium and Holland cruise visiting Antwerp and Ghent and costs from £1,655 including flights and transfers. April departures will visit Keukenhof Gardens, while summer sailings will go to Delft. The second is a nine-day Pride of Belgium cruise that visits First
Panorama Suite, Avalon Waterways
World War battlefields as well as Maastricht, Antwerp and Ghent. The April 4 sailing is a themed WWI departure and will offer guests special lecturers on board.
A Habsburg Empire-themed sailing on the renamed Danube Dreams cruise (formerly Capitals of Central Europe) departs on April 13, also featuring guest lecturers.
