Mauritius
If your client is celebrating their honeymoon, a romantic anniversary or a milestone birthday, point them in the direction of Mauritius. Special occasions are the
perfect opportunity to convince customers to splash out, so tap into the lucrative market by finding out more about your client’s interests and needs.
Affordable luxury With its array of high-quality hotels and price tags that are relatively affordable compared with other Indian Ocean destinations, Mauritius is a popular destination for couples seeking a relaxing getaway. Its white-sand beaches and
crystal-clear waters will always draw the crowds, but it has lots more to offer so highlight your knowledge and give added value by sharing more information.
Mauritius has 100 miles of beaches, the majority around the north of the island.
Island sights For lovely landscapes recommend the Black River Gorges or the Tamarin Falls, which is best visited with a local guide. If your client is a fan of wildlife and water activities, recommend the Balaclava Marine Park, which is well known for its coral reefs, tropical lagoons and marine life. For relaxation, recommend a cruise to the smaller surrounding islands, such as Ile-aux-Cerfs, which is a popular option. And while your customer is in the luxury mindset, recommend upgrades and extras if their budget allows for it. Upgrade rooms or contact the hotel about pre-bookable add-ons such as champagne breakfasts.
