Silversea Expeditions unveils food, diving, birding and wellness sailings Hollie-Rae Merrick

Silver Galapagos

Silversea Expeditions is introducing a series of voyages that focus on activities such as birding, photography, scuba diving, wellness and gastronomy. The line is showcasing the new

voyages with six mini-brochures, which are available in print format and as digital flip books. Silversea has been developing its expeditions offering since launching the product in 2008. Each short brochure gives an

overview of the programme and relevant sailings. Steve Odell, the line’s president

for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, said: “These speciality expeditions enable travellers to leverage their personal passions and interests to experience a more tailored journey of discovery.” The line is introducing a Birding and Ornithology Expedition Voyage, which is available on

Silver Explorer, Silver Galapagos and Silver Discoverer. The Wellness Expedition

Voyages will be available on Silver Discoverer while it sails in southeast Asia and the South Pacific. A team of specialists will host a programme of fitness training including yoga and pilates.

Two of the mini-brochures are

devoted to separate culinary- themed itineraries, one around Europe, the other off North Africa. These will feature lectures and cooking demonstrations, and passengers will also receive a complimentary massage. Photography cruises will be

offered on Silver Discoverer and Silver Explorer. Silver Discoverer will also host diving cruises while sailing around Indonesia and the South Pacific. The operator’s mini-brochures

can be requested from the line or downloaded at: silversea.com/brochures
