Students apply to become a Leader for STEM in their school or college – to help others and be involved themselves with STEM projects. They are required to interview a scientist, technologist, engineer or mathematician about their work, career path and motivation to encourage careers awareness.
A range of ‘Special Awards’, including an IET Special Award, provide focus for the interviews, along with prizes for the best interviews submitted.

Primary Engineer works with teachers to deliver the practical application of science, maths and ICT through design and technology in the curriculum. Teachers are provided with:
CPD events where secondary and primary teachers come together to enable both parties to develop a better understanding of the primary D&T curriculum and to consider transition strategies
Project design briefs with both paper-based and digital learning resources which include 12 complete lessons of interactive whiteboard materials.
